Craps is a lot rarer online than blackjack, roulette, or baccarat, and none of the casinos we currently review have confirmed a craps table - Irwin Casino explicitly excludes it, and it isn't mentioned in the others' game libraries either. We'd rather say so plainly than recommend a casino for a game it may not actually offer.
Craps is built around a shooter rolling two dice, with every player free to bet on the outcome regardless of who's rolling. The first roll of a round is the come-out roll - it either settles Pass Line bets immediately or sets a target number, called "the point," that the shooter must roll again before a 7 to keep the round alive.
A Pass Line bet wins on a come-out roll of 7 or 11, loses on 2, 3, or 12, and otherwise rides on the point being rolled again before a 7. A Come bet works identically but can be placed on any roll after the point is already established, effectively starting its own mini come-out roll.
Once a point is set, you can back your Pass Line or Come bet with an odds bet - an additional wager that pays true mathematical odds with no house edge at all, though casinos cap it as a multiple (often 2x, 3x, or more) of your original bet.
You can also bet directly that a specific number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) will be rolled before a 7, without needing a point already established - these are Place bets. Proposition bets in the centre of the table (any 7, hardways, and similar one-roll bets) offer bigger payouts but carry a noticeably higher house edge, so they're worth treating as a side bet rather than your main strategy.

The odds bet - placed behind a Pass Line or Come bet - is the only bet in the casino with zero house edge, since it pays true mathematical odds. It can only be placed as a multiple of your original bet and isn't available as a standalone wager.
